The name "Magazzini" (magazines) originates still from the time as here the food salt developed in the saltworks was stored. The village retained itself until today the fascination of a small antique marittimen village.

The beach consists of rough sand and flints and one has from here a wonderful view of the Shilouette of Portoferraio, which is located directly opposite. By the Tamarisk treesume growing at the beach you find here shady places also in the hot season.
